The most
popular screening plant. It grows up to three feet per year.
Plant 6' to 8' apart. It grows best in full sun and thins
out in the shade. Grows 60' tall and 8' wide.
Evergreen
conifer is similar in appearance to the Leyland Cypress. Its
needles turn bronze, brown if windswept, in the winter. It
grows best in full sun and is not as hardy as Leyland
cypress in windy locations. Grows 50 to 60' tall.
Beautiful
evergreen growing 40 to 70' in height and 25 to 35' wide.
This evergreen grows to 25' in 15 years. It tolerates shade
better than other conifers. It can be sun scorched in 95
degree weather. This plant requires well drained, organic
enriched soil. It does not tolerate wind or drought. It
makes a great evergreen hedge, which can be pruned.

Large
evergreen shrub which grows 20 to 25' high and wide. Its
small white flowers are very fragrant.
Needs shade and
is even alright for heavy shade. It is used in
foundation plantings in shady conditions. Grows 6 to 10'
tall. Slow growing, but as with any plants, grows faster if
watered and fertilized. Variegated varieties have varying
degrees of yellow in its normally dark green waxy leaf.
Good
accent plant, and can be used for screens and hedges.
Cleyera does best in shade. It can grow to 10', but is
easily pruned to lower heights.
CAMELLIA JAPONICA
Dense pyramid
of lustrous dark green foliage with beautiful flowers from
December to April. Cold nights can brown the petals. Below 0
degrees, temperatures can kill the plant.
Smaller and
more refined than Camellia Japonica. The leaves are a
lustrous dark green but smaller than Camellia Japonica. Its
flowers are also smaller and bloom from September to
December.
Grows 8 to
12' high, but can be maintained at any height with proper
pruning. This is a wonderful textural addition to a shade
garden. In the wild, this plant is found in wet woodlands.

10' high and wide.
6 to 12'
high, 6 to 8' wide. It can be grown in either the sun or
shade. It is knows as a favorite landscape plant in the
south. This plant is fast growing. The leaves are light
green and creamy white.

and wide. It looks better pruned. Sometimes referred to as

Narrow, pyramidal evergreen with dense emerald green
foliage. This is a moderate grower, only to 15' tall and 3
to 4 feet wide. Grows in full sun.
