About Artistic Landscapes

Artistic Landscapes is a full service landscape contractor.  We design, install and maintain landscapes in the North Metro Atlanta area.  We are members of the Metro Atlanta Landscape and Turf Association (MALTA).  Each year we win awards for our design and installation work.

Artistic Landscapes is owned by Mark Keightley.  Mark graduated from the University of Illinois.  After working in the corporate world for 10 years, Mark moved to Atlanta in 1989.  He founded Stanford Development and built 150 houses in the Atlanta area from 1989 to 1994.  This construction background provided excellent experience in constructing hardscapes and understanding local building codes.

Mark began landscaping in 1994 and now has 15 years experience.  Mark is a big believer in continuing education and actively participating in landscape related professional organizations.

Our focus is on providing top quality landscapes to good clients, many of whom we now call our friends.  We are not trying to landscape all of Atlanta and we prefer quality to being the biggest landscaper.  We sometimes will turn down a project during our busy seasons to avoid over extending our resources.  This policy has been developed from experience.

When dealing with our company you will get the owner as the supervisor of your project.  With a larger company, your supervisor is likely to have less education and experience than Mark provides.  We hope the photos of our work speak for themselves.  All the photos on this site are of projects completed by Artistic Landscapes.
