Patios
One of the most popular style of patios that we install are interlocking pavers. The owner of Artistic Landscapes, Mark Keightly, is a certified paver installer by the Interlocking Concrete Paver Institute (ICPI).
Interlocking concrete pavers are elegant and beautiful. They are also extremely durable while offering greater longevity than simple concrete driveways, patios and sidewalks. If a paver is ever broken, it can simply be replaced. If a tree root uplifts a paver walkway, the pavers can be removed and reinstalled. If a concrete driveway or sidewalk breaks, sinks or is uplifted, it is very difficult to repair and often requires complete replacement. Stamped and poured concrete create a very hard and inflexible surface that is subject to cracking.

Retaining Walls
Retaining walls are an integral part of most landscape plans in the North Atlanta area due to the mountainous topography. Integrating a retaining wall in to your landscaping can provide more usable space and allow for terracing for more dramatic effects. It also can help correct more practical matters like erosion.
On walls over four feet high we offer engineered retaining wall structures. We design and install new retaining walls as well as replace existing retaining walls. Including railroad cross tie replacement and pressure treated timber wall replacement. We install modular block and stone retaining walls and are a certified segmental retaining wall installer by the National Concrete Masonry Association.
